Dataset Description: This database was developed in a study titled “Hydrological research evolution: A large language model–based analysis of 310,000 studies published globally between 1980 and 2023” (Miao et al., 2024). It includes data from a quantitative literature review, based on searches performed with the Web of Science (WoS) search engine across all available databases. The search was performed in October 2023, encompassing the fields of title, abstract, journal name, authors’ names, authors’ affiliations, authors’ keywords and WoS generated keywords, and other information provided by WoS.
